SYNOPSIS - Dead of winter in the snow-covered Alps. To make ends meet, Marie, 45, smuggles cartons of cigarettes between France and Italy with the help of her lover, Alex, a border police officer. When she meets a young refugee named Souleymane, who will do anything it takes to join his little sister Marie, she gets caught up in a spiral that is far more dangerous than she could ever have imagined.
